Abstract
The article analyzes the patterns of transition of the legal system of society in the state of legal culture. The reasons that determine the selection from the legal reality of a special form of legal thinking legal consciousness are determined. The role of elements of legal consciousness is shown legal science and legal education in transforming legal reality into legal actuality. The significance of this process for the formation of the material and spiritual legal culture of society is revealed
