Sustainability in Supply Chain Management across the Private Sector of UAE

The sustainability in Supply Chain Management (SCM) of the private sector is important to be considered as this sector is not owned or operated by the government. The aim of this research is to forecast the future of supply chain management within the private companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The research study was conducted in five different private companies including; property management, retail stores, beverages, banking sector and construction firm. This qualitative study was conducted to highlight several approaches that are adopted by the organizations when dealing with internal and external hurdles and openers to achieve sustainable supply chain management in private sectors.
