Abstract

Azadirachtin A, azadirachtin B and azadirachtin A+B(1:1,m/m) possessed good antifeedant activity against 2nd instar larvae of Spodoptera litura when AFC_(50) S were 0.97 mg/L, 2.42 mg/L and 1.01 mg/L treatment after 24 h. Azadirachtin A, azadirachtin B and azadirachtin A+B (1.6:1,m/m) possessed antifeedant activity against 3rd instar larvae of Pieris brassicae when AFC_(50) S were 176.67 mg/L, 224.48 mg/L and 149.99 mg/L treatment after 24 h. Mixed in proportion as 1:1 or 1.6:1 (A:B, m/m), azadirachtin A+B possessed synergism. 3 mg/L azadirachtin A and azadirachtin B could prolong the larvaae time and reduce the pupae weight of S. litura. Effect of azadirachtin B on pupae of S. litura was higher than tht of azadirachtin A treatment after 3-5 d. 1 mg/L azadirachtin A and azadirachtin B could reduce the larvae weight of S. litura. Effect of azadirachtin B on the larve weight of S. litura was higher than that of azadirachtin A treatment after 3-5 d.
