Abstract
The purpose of this research was to identify the types of perceptions that teachers were aware of that would have a significant impact on the development of their writing skills for elementary school students to improve their writing skills. To improve the literacy of elementary school students, the elementary school teacher identified a subjective answer to the important element of thought and categorized the type by measuring factors for improving writing skills that they perceive as subjective criteria. For this, a subjective study method was conducted Q-method. The study was classified as a result of the three types of studies, which analyzed the subjective view of writing skills for elementary school teachers. Type I was classified as a type that emphasizes basic knowledge, Type II was classified as emphasizing form / form knowledge, type III was pursued / emphasized on the provision of environment.
