Alice Breeveld Table 1: Properties of the UVOT Grisms visible grism UV grism first order wavelength range 2850-6600 Å 1700-5000 Å first order wavelength accuracy (1σ ) 22 Å 9 (18 a ) Å spectral resolution 100 at 4000 Å 75 at 2600 Å no order overlap (first order) 2850-5200 Å 1700-2740 Å effective magnitude range 12-17 mag 10-16 mag dispersion (first order) 5.9 Å/pixel at 4200Å 3.1 Å/pixel at 2600Å zeroth order b-magnitude zeropoint 17.7 mag 19.0 mag effective area error nominal mode 11 % 15 % effective area error clocked mode 15 % 9 % a UV nominal grism.
