Abstract

The problem of achieving maximum depression in the reservoir and, accordingly, production in low-yield wells is one of the main ones. Therefore, minimizing associated petroleum gas pressure in the annulus of the well in compliance with environmental requirements is relevant. The purpose of this work is to increase the efficiency of mechanized oil production by eliminating the effect of associated petroleum gas on the oil production rate and pump performance; to develop a method and technical support for the transportation of gas from the annular space to a single-pipe field collector. A mathematical model was used to approximate the calculation of the minimum required volume of the process fluid to fill the annular space, taking into account the imbalance of the performance of the well pump and the pump for injecting the process fluid. A method has been developed for the complete replacement of associated petroleum gas from the annular space by the process fluid and the unit for its implementation. The obtained results allow to increase the flow rate of wells and the efficiency of downhole sucker-rod pumping units by increasing the depression to the reservoir by reducing the gas pressure in the annulus.
