Abstract
Summary Over the previous decade, reflection imaging using wireline borehole acoustic full waveform data has become an accepted technique for visualising the structure of the near wellbore environment. However, often the results are only presented and considered in a two dimensions, which makes visualising the interrelationship of features in the three dimensional volume round the wellbore challenging, especially if multiple features with varying orientations are present. In this extended abstract we present a new methodology to extend the technique to generate reflection images in three dimensions, and present a concept for interpreting and utilising this information in subsurface modelling.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
