Zambian libraries to fight poverty through the provision of information to help the country attain the Millennium Development Goals by 2015: a paper presented at the Zambia Library Association Pre-AGM Seminar held in Livingstone on 19th July 2007

This paper presents a discussion of how libraries in Zambia could contribute to the efforts made by Government and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) do attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015. A background of how and when the Millennium Development Goals came to being is given. The paper also highlights some of the innovative services libraries could provide to help Zambia attain some of the MDGs.
