Abstract
in this research work an automated TIG welding setup was made and welding is performed on 3 mm thick aluminium plate. Welding parameters such as welding speed and current are changed to get a better strength joint and for this reason only welding is done on both the sides of aluminium plate. The tensile strength of the obtained weld joint, microstructure and micro hardness of weld pool was analysed by changing welding speed and current applied
