Abstract The Baldwin metalloporphyrin (III) mediates the reaction between 4‐cyano‐dimethylaniline N‐oxide (I) and tetramethylethylene (II), yielding the epoxide (V), the amine (IV), and the tetrahydroquinoline (VI).
