Abstract

Abstract Erhitzt man Isonicotinsäure (I) mit einem Alkohol, z.B. Butanol, über einem Kationit ( ;z.B. KU‐2‐8) zum Sieden, so entsteht der Isonicotinsäurebutylester, jedoch liegt die Ausbeute nicht über 60%, weil der Stickstoff des Pyridinrings sich an den Kationit bindet, wodurch dieser blockiert wird.
