Abstract
Electroweak baryon number violation may play a crucial role for the creation of the matterantimatter asymmetry in the early universe. In this talk, we review the basic mechanism, which relies on the behavior of chiral fermions in nontrivial Yang-Mills gauge field backgrounds. 1
