Abstract

Abstract 1,3‐Di‐tert‐butylcyclopentadiene (I) is lithiated to give the intermediate (III) which reacts with the trichlorides (IV), yielding the cyclopentadienyldichlorophosphane (Va), and the analogous arsane (Vb) and stibane (Vc).
