Abstract
Abstract The electrocatalytic properties of amorphous mixed metals containing Fe, Co, and Ni as the main components are studied by ac impedance, cyclic voltammetry, and steady state polarization techniques in 1 M KOH at 298‐363 K. The results show that Co50Ni25Si15B10 is the best catalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction and that Fe60Co20Si10B10 has a catalytic activity for both oxygen and hydrogen evolution reaction comparable with that of Pt.
