Abstract The title compound (V), prepared in 89% overall yield according to Kuchen and Buchwald (1958), undergoes Wittig reaction with benzaldehyde (VI) to yield (VII) the E:Z ratio of which is varying with temp.; in the same way products (IX) are obtained.
