Abstract

Abstract The cyclohexenecarboxylate (I) reacts with the butylcuprates (II) to produce the 2‐butylcyclohexanecarboxylate (III) whereas treatment of (I) with (V) or (VI) yields the cyclohexyl butyl ketone (IV) as the main product.
