Abstract
According to the jamming principle of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar), three different jamming techniques are analyzed. The principle of coherent deception jamming is emphatically discussed. Taking a typical airborne SAR system as an example, the imaging process of SAR and the effect of coherent deception jamming are simulated. The results show that the effect of deception jamming is not only related to the jamming power, but also to the backscattering characteristics of the protected area. Therefore, in order to achieve the same jamming effect, the required deceptive jamming power is different for the regions with different backscattering characteristics.
