Abstract

Abstract Sodium perborate oxidizes the trialkylboranes (III) and the vinylboranes (VII), which are obtained by hydroboration of the corresponding alkenes (I) or alkynes (V), to give the alcohols (IV) and the carbonyl compounds (VIII) respectively.
