Abstract
In this study, total RNA and mRNA were isolated from 5 month fetal liver cells and the cDNA encoding Chinese human TPO was amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method using mRNA as the template. The amplified cDNA fragment was inserted into pGEM3Zf vectors. After transformation, the recombinant plasmid was analysed by restriction endonucleases. 1059 bp of the full length cDNA coding 353 amino acids was sequenced.
