Abstract

One mortar mix (M) and two hardened cement paste mixes with water cement ratio 0.5 (HCP1) and water cement ratio 0.7 (HCP2) were prepared for these investigations. To some specimens 0.5% or 1% of reagent grade sodium chloride related to the mass of cement has been added. Two types of cylinders with a diameter of ∅ = 50 mm were cast and stored in a humid room until the pore solution was expressed.
