Abstract

Catalytic hydroboration of terminal alkenes/alkynes with HBpin using the Al(III) catalyst, [κ 2 -{Ph 2 P(=Se)NCH 2 (C 5 H 4 N)}Al(CH 3 ) 2 ] ( 1 ), under mild and solvent-free conditions to afford corresponding alkyl/alkenyl boronate esters in high yield is reported.
