Abstract
In conditions of destabilizing the political, financial and economic situation in Ukraine as a result of military operations exacerbated the problem of national security in banking. The purpose of this article is to analyze the events and fundamental error state in the process of overcoming the banking crisis years 2014–2016 and justify further steps towards rehabilitation and recovery of the banking system. Among the necessary measures to achieve this offered: restore profitable operations and subsequent recapitalization of the banking system in view to support its monetary sovereignty; ensure the success of the state-owned banks by providing specialization of each of the banks will lose effect once the state monopoly in the banking market; deposit market recovery and activation of credit activity of banks; ensuring balanced currency structure of bank loans and deposits; ensure stability of the national currency as a condition of post-crisis recovery of the banking system. Іmplementation of these measures should contribute to post-crisis recovery of the banking system of Ukraine in 2017 and beyond.
