Abstract

This paper discusses how to make road buses serve the urban rail transit network better. Based on the position of the both functions, grasping the convergence of passenger traffic in the both traffic modes and sections, and studying the transfer coordination and line rationality of the both, the evaluation method using grey correlation analysis focuses on parallel roads. The line rationality of bus lines was evaluated and the line of thought and method for line adjustment were proposed accordingly. Finally, the Xi'an Metro Line 2 was taken as an example to illustrate and explain it. Through the analysis of the service characteristics of the road bus under the urban rail transit environment, the road bus can serve the urban rail transit increasingly efficiently, and then the coordination of the both systems can be improved.
