Abstract
Abstract Research-engaged teachers (RET) are those who participate in three research activities: reading research, conducting research, and data collection, analysis, and use. In this study, I describe the perceptions and attitudes of this oftenoverlooked teacher population by highlighting the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations to become and remain research engaged, teachers current level of participation in these research activities, and the ways that the RETs manage the facilitators and barriers to these activities that they encounter in their work.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
