Comparison between Martin Luther King and Malcolm X: Their Role in the Black Movement

This paper will give a short revision of the political and economic situation of blacks in the 1950s when the black civil rights movement started and its two great figures, Martin Luther King and Malcolm X played an important role. Then their lives, experiences and religious approach will be shown. Next their roles in the movement are described through their goals, strategies and success. Finally, it will turn out why King was more successful in the movement than Malcolm X.
