Abstract

Sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) is from prunus genus, which is placed in flowering plants and angiosperms. Because of the the economic importance of Sweet cherry, genetic diversity in Arasbaran, to select superior genotypes and used in breeding programs as resistant rootstocks and harmony in the region is required. In this study, using 26 qualitative and 16 quantitative trait genetic diversity of 28 genotypes were evaluated Sweet cherry selection of Ahar Affil area. Based on the results, some characteristics, such as chlorophyll, lean meats, fruit weight, level leaf and the weight of 100 fruit have down coefficients of variation and fruit width, fruit the length and leaf the length have high coefficients of variation. Simple correlation coefficients showed that some the measured traits such as weight of 100 fruit with average fruit weight, weight of 100 fruit with tail and pure meat weight is a significant positive correlation. Cluster analysis and cutting dendrogram, the genotypes are genetically 7 to 25 be divided into two main groups. Factor analysis evaluated 16 variables into reduced the six main factors total was 80/06% of total variation. Traits and fruit weight showed that fruits have different sizes and genotype A26 has the size and weight of the fruit was. The fruits ripen in the same time period studied genotypes was mostly and A28 genotype was just too late. Most fruit genotypes soft tissue that causes resistance to cracking in the rain at the time of fruit ripening. the results indicated that there is considerable variation in most traits, however identification and distinction genotypes is the use of a set of distinctive traits. in the meantime, fruit weight, fruit skin color and fruit texture hardness is more important and the most important characteristics matched recipes Keywords: sweet cherry tree, morphological diversity, quantitative traits and quality, fruit weight
