Abstract
Body schema plasticity demonstrates the extent of the malleabihty of sensory\nmaps in the adult brain. Alterations of body schema in clinical populations such as the\nappearance of phantom limbs after amputation and somatoparaphrenia after stroke are\nwell documented. This body of work demonstrates that the body schema can be\ngreatly modified even in neurologically healthy adults.
