Abstract

It is explored to the ecological adaptive characteristic of Leymus chinensis population in several aspects: such as the amounts of population, the distribution pattern and the module and clone differentiation under different environmential condition. The results are as follows: 1) There are the trends of changing about the amounts of Leymus chinensis population and their distribution pattern along the environmental gradient, especially those which are the amounts of Leymus chinensis population in the community of Leymus chinensis, their spacing in the rows and their types of distribution patterns could reprent the ecological adaptive characteristic of Leymus chinensis properly; 2) The plasticity of clone differentiation of Leymus chinensis is varied distinetly under the variation of environmental condition. The Leymus chinensis population is the community of Leymus chinensis is the most characteristic: their rhizome is the longest, the numbers of their stem, mode is the most, the range between their node is the largest and the dry matter accumulation of rhizome is the largest.
