Abstract

As a result of experimentally evaluating the flammability limits of lubricating oil or flammable gas, it is possible to apply the temperature dependence based on the White's rule to the measured flammability limit. Furthermore, flammability limits under mixing condition of lubricating oil and flammable gas was measured. Flammable limits under mixing condition can be accurately predicted by applying the Le Chatelier's formula to the flammability limit of lubricating oil and combustible gas.
