Abstract
In previous chapters, you learned about the importance of high availability (HA). Now, you will learn about what it takes to configure a completely fault-tolerant and bulletproof Oracle Enterprise Management installation. In-depth setup instructions will be provided for configuring all aspects of Oracle Enterprise Manager for high availability and disaster recovery. High availability configurations will be explained for the agent, database, and OMS stacks. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control is an important tool that allows a business to manage and monitor its most mission-critical Oracle and non-Oracle assets; therefore, it is important to remove as many single points of failure in an OEM installation as possible.
