The Analis of the Poetry of Abdulmuti Alhejazi's Based on Max Lucher's Theory of Test Color

Color is one the prominent elements in aesthetics which can hint at a person’s beliefs and reflect their inner nature. Its use in man’s life is of special importance and even more so when it comes to creativity in art. Even poets employ the sensory aspects of colors in their poems and at times move further to a symbolic level. It is the power of color that the artist can use to show feelings like anger, wrath, fear, love, etc. In this study, using Max Lusher’s psychology of color, the colors used in Hejazi’s poems will be analyzed to give a picture of his worldview and outlook towards life. The color green is the most frequent color in Ahmad Abdulmuti Alhejazi's poetry collection signifying nature and vividness. But green is not the color of poet’s soul since the color which comes next is black, showing the poets pessimism towards his society. The third color is red which means battle and a call to action. His fourth choice of color is Yellow, signifying woe, pity, and hope. Blue symbolizes life and tranquility and secondary colors such as gray and purple point to the artistic and curious spirit in Hejazi.
