Abstract
Phosphorus, on the effects of legume crops due to the quality and quantity of the product, is an important macro-nutrients element. This research was conducted to determine on the yield and yield components of soybean in 2009 on Konya conditions. Experimental design was established according to Randomized Complete Block arrengement. In this research, Nova soybean variety and five different phosphorus levels (0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 kg / ha P2O5) were used. In the study; plant height, first pod height, number of branch and pod per plant, pod height, number of seed per pod, thousand seed weight and seed yield were investigated. Results of the research show that effects of phosphorus application on the first pod length, number of pod per plant, thousand seed weight and seed yield were significant. Seed yield increased with increasing phosphorous doses up to 60 kg ha-1, but showed a decreasing course at higher phosphorous applications. Phosphorous applications of 60 and 30 kg ha-1 produced the highest values for seed yield (2511.7 kg ha-1 and 2433.3 kg ha1). In conclusion; it may be said that 30 kg ha-1 phosphorus application would be sufficient in order to ensure economic soybean production for same soil conditions
