Abstract

By means of electromyography the contractions of the following biarticular muscles were studied: the long head of the biceps brachii, the short head of the biceps brachii, the long head of the triceps brachii, and the pronator teres. Electromyograms were recorded from four subjects by a model III-D Grass electroencephalograph. Surface electrodes were used for all electromyograms that were recorded for this study.
