Abstract
ASSESSMENT OF DEFLECTION OF THE VERTICAL COMPONENTS FROM GPS AND LEVELLING MEASUREMENT Deflection of the vertical is used in geoid modellings in reducing to ellipsoid plane of geodesic measures related to geoid network (vertical and horizantal observations and length dimensions). It is generally reached by AstroGeodesical and gravimetrical techniques. This techniques are very difficult and timeconsuming. Ellipsoidal coordinations belonging to points are easily reached by using the Global Position System (GPS) in geodesy. It is absorved that in condition of orthometric heights belonging to the points are calculated by geometrical leveling technique the calculation of Deflection of the vertical components and variations of GPS/leveling, and geoid heights turned easier and faster. In this study, after deflection of the vertical, its components, the sort of deflection of the vertical and its calculation techniques are told by geoid determining techniques, there given an information on GPS and leveling measure and the technique related to deflection of the vertical found by geoid height variation of those, finally the practice of the subject was realized in a test network. Deflection of the vertical components and the variation of geoid heights were examined in a determined network. Moreover deflection of the vertical components and geoid heights were calculated by the help of EGM96 and CG03C geoid models belonging to the same network. The obtained data of GPS/Leveling, EGM96 and CG03C models were compared. In summary, geoid heights and were variation of deflection of the vertical components were examined by the data of GPS/leveling.
