Abstract

The cruise market is an international activity with the fastest growing trend that includes travel, tourism and leisure. Nautical tourism is a precursor to the development of modern cruise. Cruising, the thesis of this work, is defined historically, as well as the impact on the tourist destination. The cruise market is divided into the major markets segments and most successful companies that operate in cruise market. Significant factors of development of the cruise market are cruise sales, marketing, branding and relationship to the passengers on the market. Wide range of cruise products make cruising so special and interesting to the people with different points of interests and demands.
