Abstract

According to the International Committee for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH) the Sianmethemoglobin method use Hematology Analyzer tool. But different with Indonesian Red Cross unit (PMI) using Point-Of-Care-Testing (POCT) tool to examine hemoglobin level because it can provide quick result and cheapper. This study aims to determine the average difference between the measurement of hemoglobin level using Point-Of-Care-Testing (POCT) method and Hematology Analyzer tool. The type of this research is descriptive. The samples in this study using 30 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. The respondents were student health analyst major in Poltekkes Denpasar. Based on the measurement obtained average hemoglobin level result using Point-Of-Care-Testing (POCT) 13.1 g / dl and Hematology Analyzer 14.4 g / dl. The result showed that hemoglobin level examination using Point-Of-Care-Testing (POCT) tool is lower than Hematology Analyzer. Keywords: Hematology Analyzer, Point-Of-Care-Testing, hemoglobin
