1998 Statistical Summaries - FTA Grant Assistance Programs

This annual report provides detailed financial data about FTA's financial aid programs, including the distribution and use of funds. The report includes summary descriptions of the following federal programs: Urbanized Area Formula, Non-urbanized Area Formula, Rural Transit Assistance Program, Elderly and Persons with Disabilities, Capital, Interstate Substitution, Metropolitan Planning, State Planning and Research, Consolidated Planning Grants, and State Infrastructure Banks. Data in this report were compiled from the capital, operating, and planning assistance grants awarded to transit agencies, states, planning agencies, and other units of local government.
