Abstract
Ibuprofen is a first-line pharmacological treatment option for pain and fever in children, as is paracetamol. Here we review the evidence that shows ibuprofen is equally as well tolerated and at least as effective as paracetamol, plus practical advice on paediatric dosing and administration.
