Abstract
Research on researchers and scholarly journals has been carried out for a long time. Tourism has developed a lot in practice, and it is a field where academic research is actively carried out. However, there are not many studies that have examined the relationship between researchers and papers by combining these studies. Therefore, in this study, we try to social network analysis by analyzing the links between researchers and academic journals about the articles published in the field of tourism. Researchers and academic journals were set as nodes for social network analysis. And degree centrality and closeness centrality of the nodes are calculated in case of domestic and international. As a result, we confirmed that researchers and academic journals play a central role in the publication of domestic and international papers in tourism. In addition, we interpreted the meaning of centroid values. Finally, this paper proposes the comprehensive social network and suggests limitations of the implications and research.
