Abstract

The subject of the final work is the application of radiation in medicine. The first part of the paper describes the radiation, the types of radiation, and some more about ionizing radiation. The types of ionizing radiation as well as the ways of measuring ionizing radiation are described. Also, the sources and influence of ionizing radiation on humans and protection against ionizing radiation. After that, X-ray devices in medicine, device types, basic parts of the device and at the end of the subject the scan that are used.
