Abstract

In this paper, we define and study generic Riemannian submersions from almost productRiemannian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We give an example, investigate thegeometry of foliations which are arisen from the definition of a Riemannian submersion. We alsofind necessary and sufficient conditions for a generic Riemannian submersion to be totallygeodesic.
