Abstract

The Queqiao communication relay satellite, as an important part in Chang’e-4 mission, relays commands and data between Earth station and lander for the farside lunar landing mission. This paper introduces trajectory design method and flight result of the relay satellite. Firstly, design method and analysis results of Halo orbit is given with mission requirements and constraints. Sencondly, the transfer trajectory is studied, including trajectory characteristics, manuever strategies and ΔV budget. In the end, the flight data is compared with predicted value.
