Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between Human VEGF level and malignant tumor. Methods We determined the serum VEGF with self\|made VEGF monoclonal antibody in 342 patients of malignant tumor and normal persons. Results The serum VEGF level in the patients with malignant tumor were higher than that in normal person( P 0.01). And we determined the serum VEGF level and did dynamic observation in 122 patients with non\|small\|cell lung cancer. The result showed that the two\|year survival rate in patients with serum VEGF level higher than 350μg/l was lower than that in the patients with serum VEGF level lower than 350μg/l( P 0.01). Conclusion VEGF is an important tumor vascular growth factor. The determination of its serum level can be a valuable index on tumor prognosis evaluation. And it can also provide some guidance in the anti\|tumor\|vessel therapy.
