An analysis of EU policies and activities on food production

The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union dates back to 1958 when the Treaty of Rome defined European Economic Community in the framework of M'hich, which is defined by the common agricultural policy (CAP). The Common Agricultural Policy over the past 50 years has significantly influenced the development of agricultural production in each member state. At the time of formation of the European Union CAP is defined as a system of legal regulations, budgetary policies and direct public investments that affect the agricultural situation of all countries. The objectives of the CAP is basically related to an insurance income of the agricultural population, stabilizing markets within the EU and to enhance the productivity of food production and the preservation of the environment and food safety.
