This paper briefly describes some prospects for new physics searches related to CP violation studies in B decays with the Belle II experiment. With a design luminosity of 8 · 10 35 cm −2 s −1 , and an integrated luminosity above 50 ab −1 , the new B-factory SuperKEKB will exceed the record instantaneous luminosity of its predecessor KEKB by a factor of 40. The new Belle II detector with most subsystems upgraded will allow to measure the parameters of CP violation even more precisely in spite of increased backgrounds and radiation loads. The CKM mechanism is expected to be tested at 1% level at Belle II.
