Abstract

ABSTRACT Exploration drilling and success continued at an even pace in 1972. Development drilling was up about 15% compared with 1971. This year 157 more wells were drilled than in 1971. The Anadarko basin continued to hold the exploration spotlight, as it has for the past several years.
