Abstract
Part 2 of this paper examines the optimisation of turret and roller arrangement to minimise turret mooring line tensions and roller reactions, computer simulation of mooring line tensions and dynamic vessel responses in waves, model basis experiments in various vessel and sea conditions to assess the computer, simulation analysis, 3-D finite element analysis of the turret and supporting structure, turret roller reactions by finite element analysis and structural model tests for calibration and static and fatigue tests of turret rollers.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
