Abstract
This research discus ed about psychopathic in movie Maniac which aimed to find out the characteristics of Frank as main character and to figure out the factors that made him become a psychopath. The research applied descriptive qualitative method in revealing the data. The researcher used Hare's theory which talked about the characteristics psychopath and Freud's theory about the psychopath factors. The result of this research showed that there were five characteristics of psychopath that found on Frank's character that they were glib and superficial, lack of remorse or guilt, impulsive, poor behavior control lack of empathy. The researcher also found that the factors made frank as psychopath was his id which became the dominant one than his ego and superego.
