Abstract
In this paper, a two-dimensional(2D) hexagonal lattice annular photonic crystal is designed. The band diagram of this photonic crystal is calculated by plane wave expansion method (PWE). The negative refraction phenomenon of photonic crystal is studied by analyzing the band diagram. The finite -difference time - domain method (FDTD) is used to simulate the imaging characteristics of the point light source. We have proved that this annular photonic crystal plate can realize negative refraction imaging.
