Abstract
The history of international psychology is approached from three perspectives: a description of the development of psychology in an international context from its roots in early philosophy and medicine to the present time; a discussion of current trends in regionalization, attention to culture and context, and the application of psychology to social issues, and a timeline tracing the development and growth of psychology in every region in the world.
